Bobcats are invading the metro area!
Well, okay, invade may be a strong term, but they’re roaming about in increased numbers!
And by “increased numbers,” we mean one.
Actually, some people just found a dead animal that could potentially be a bobcat near a Wal-Mart near Shawnee Mission Parkway. But this is just the first wave! Just look at the comment posted on KSHB’s website!
From jjjohnson:
One night a couple of years ago, a bobcat ran across the road in front of me on K-32 Hiway near Lake of the Forest between Bonner Springs and Edwardsville.
Jjjohnson came to regret letting that bobcat go, because it later mauled his wise, kind Uncle Ben during a robbery gone awry. From that day forth, jjjohnson vowed he would use his powers to protect the world from bobcats. With great bobcat-sighting power comes great responsibility.
