We just never got tired of watching Mitt, the once-liberal and still wealthy former guv of Massachusetts, prostrate himself in front of down-home Iowa crowds and try to out-crazy all the other GOP opponents. Alas, he had to face the eventual facts and withdraw — but that didn’t prevent him from speaking without a trace of irony to the RNC about the sins of “Eastern elites.” Ahem. Luckily, Mitt’s star will shine once again for Kansas voters: he’s coming to Topeka to attend a fundraiser for our favorite meta-candidate, Lynn Jenkins. Enjoy, fans of good hair and great wealth.
