So as we noted earlier, renowned sportscaster and noted Constitutional scholar Sarah Palin dropped by Springfield today on her way back to the tundra. What’d she have to say? Does she finally have something to offer besides carefully rehearsed zingers and folksy catchphrases? Ha, no. All she really did was, um, ask for a job?
“So, Missouri, will you hire us? Will you send us to Washington?” she asked.
The answer was pandemonium, roaring applause.
“Good, it’s a deal. We will take that job.”
Um… Sarah? We, um, don’t think that’s how you actually get the job. Oh, and hey: no mention of the status of the McCain campaign’s highest-paid employee.
